September 11th... Just another day?

I'm disappointed. It takes a lot to disappoint me. Where's all the patriotism, or at least the ocean of "I heart NY" t-shirts I see on any other day? Today is supposed to be a day of rememberence and reflection, but everyone has forgotten enough to not know what to remember. Are college students just too egocentric and hungover to care? Here at UT, students spit out profanity left and right when someone even mentions Ohio State, yet they can't bat an eye when it come to 9-11. Perhaps I'm being too harsh and general. Maybe people just never know what day it is...
